Beach Slang

Beach Slang

I’ve seen a lot of Beach Slang being thrown around recently. I figured I’d jump on the wagon, because, well, it’s awesome.

From the Polyvinyl family (those guys do music so well), Beach Slang hails from Philadelphia, bringing us the kind of punk, smoothed out with traces of pop, that speaks of hopeful melancholy. It’s the musical equivalent of the slowly cooling breeze signaling the end of summer and the impending autumn.

Check out Bad Art & Weirdo Ideas from the upcoming The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us album:

That album releases at the end of October, but you can preorder now via Bandcamp, Amazon, and iTunes. Polyvinyl and the band have some really fun options for the album, including both a purple cassette tape and purple vinyl, so there’s plenty of ways to get some great music and some fun additions to your physical music library.
